DESCRIPTION:FCR cares about the Calgary sports community:Over\nthe last few years a number of  incidences of cardiac arrest have been\nreported among Calgary badminton players.  Consequently, the FCR\nBadminton Club took the initiative to purchase a Zoll Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) for our club members.   In\nMarch 2008, FCR partnered with the MidSun Community Center and\npermanently installed this AED at the MidSun Community Center.  CPR\nand AED training was provided to the staff of the MidSun Community\nCenter and to members of the FCR Badminton Club.  Now badminton players\n(and other sporting participants) will benefit from the presence of\nthis life-saving device at the MidSun Community Center.  What is an AED?:The AED is a first-aid tool that \nis used in conjunction with CPR during cardiac arrest to increase the chance \nof survival.
